Nassahegon Forest

Nassahegon Forest Trail – Burlington, CT

Nassahegon is a really fun trail located in Burlington, CT. It has SO MANY trail options. My favorite so far is trying to stay on the outside loop. So far we’ve hiked most of the white blazes and it ends up being about 6-8 miles each time. The best part is with all the trail options it’s easy to adjust the distance of the hike you want to do.

This is a very dog friendly trail and a pretty good introduction to hiking area. Most of the trails are pretty flat and easy hiking. This is a pretty popular dirt bike trail so be careful of people zipping by on their bikes.
