High Point State Park

High Point State Park – Sussex, NJ

High Point State Park is the highest point in NJ, which is why I had to hike this one. At the high point, there is a nice tower and it was pretty crowded. You can also drive up to the tower on the scenic drive road. We decided to make this hike a 7-mile loop which made a nice day hike. This is a very pretty area of NJ. Wasn’t steep at all and offered some nice views. As you can see from the elevation profile map below you basically only go up and down about 300′ which isn’t very drastic.
