Elevation: 4,140 feet
To reach Middle Tripyramid Mountain I parked at the Livermore Road Trailhead and hikes in on the Livermore road to Livermore Trail and up North Tripyramid mountain onto the My Tripyramid trail to summit Muddle Tripyramid. For a detailed report of the beginning of this hike CLICK HERE. From North Tripyramid Summit over to Middle Tripyramid was very gradual and a pleasant hike. It didn’t feel like you lost or gain too much elevation between summit. Neither North or Middle have any summit views but you do get a couple views along the trail.
As far as dog friendly, it would depend on which trail up you take you can read about taking the Livermore Trail up HERE and how Java did struggle as that was a very technical trail. I haven’t hiked the Scaur Trail but was told it was a bit easier footing than the Livermore trail.
